Scandal of Algeria’s Contract with a Lobbying Firm Supportive of Israel
In a move that exposes the declared positions of the Algerian regime, a contract has been signed with the American company “BGR Group”, one of Israel’s key supporters and specialized in lobbying, for an amount reaching $720,000 annually.
This decision clearly contradicts the official statements of President Tebboune and the ruling regime regarding the Palestinian issue.
Through this move, it seems that Algeria is seeking to improve its image in Washington, even if it means cooperating with companies linked to supporting Israel.
This approach reinforces the image of the Algerian regime exploiting the Palestinian cause for media and political gains, while its actions contradict its public statements.
The contract was signed on behalf of Algeria by Sabri Boukadoum, Algeria’s ambassador in Washington, as shown in the photos below.
